Preparation and Storage
Serve freeze-dried food on its own for a complete and balanced meal or mix it with other food to add a boost of protein and essential nutrients. Always ensure your pet has access to clean, fresh water. Store freeze-dried products in a sealed container in a cool, dry, and dark place. Keep out of reach of children and pets. This product is not intended for human consumption. For best results, use within 30 days of opening.
Transitioning Guidelines
Transitioning your dog to a new food should be done gradually to avoid digestive upset and ensure a smooth adjustment. Begin by mixing a small amount of the new food with their current food, gradually increasing the portion of the new food over time until it fully replaces the old one. This gentle approach helps your dog adapt comfortably to their new diet.
It is recommended that a complete food transition take its corse over a 10 day period. Start with 25% new and 75% current food for days 1–3, then move to a 50/50 split for days 4–6, and 75% new food for days 7–9. By day 10, your dog will be ready to enjoy 100% of their new food!
