All three Loyal Saints formulas are human-grade, AAFCO-complete, made in the USA, and free of soy, corn, GMOs, and artificial additives. The choice comes down to your dog's protein preference, any known sensitivities, and her specific health goals.

Beef Formula
Best for: High-energy dogs · Dogs with chicken sensitivities · Dogs who need maximum palatability · Iron-rich nutrition
Beef is one of the most biologically complete protein sources for dogs — high in iron, zinc, B vitamins, and creatine. Loyal Saints Beef Formula uses human-grade beef and organs, providing a nutritionally dense, highly palatable meal that even the most skeptical dogs tend to go crazy for.

Palatability: Extremely high — one of the most universally loved proteins across breeds
Good if: Your dog has shown reactions to chicken-based foods, needs more iron, or is a picky eater who turns up her nose at everything else
Chicken Formula
Best for: Lean, active dogs · Weight management · Dogs who do well on poultry · Easiest digestion
Chicken is the leanest of the three formulas — lower in fat, easily digestible, and an excellent everyday protein for dogs without chicken sensitivities. It's also typically the most gentle option for dogs in the early stages of transitioning from kibble.

Palatability: High — familiar protein, most dogs respond well
Good if: Your dog is maintaining weight, tends toward a leaner body condition, or you want the easiest digestion curve during the transition
Note: If your dog has been on chicken-based kibble for years and has developed a chicken sensitivity (more common than people think), start with Beef or Turkey + Salmon instead.
Turkey + Salmon Formula
Best for: Skin and coat health · Joint support · Dogs with beef AND chicken sensitivities · Anti-inflammatory nutrition · Senior dogs
This is our most distinctive formula — and arguably the most nutritionally targeted. Turkey provides a lean, complete protein that most dogs haven't been overexposed to (reducing allergy risk). Salmon provides omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) that directly support:

Can You Rotate Between Formulas?
Yes — and we encourage it. Protein rotation is one of the most beneficial things you can do for your dog's long-term nutritional health. Rotating between Beef, Chicken, and Turkey + Salmon ensures she's getting a broad spectrum of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that no single protein can fully provide.
Transition between formulas the same way you'd transition from kibble — gradually over 5–7 days, mixing old with new to let her gut adjust.
