Privacy policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Loyal Saints (“Loyal Saints,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit loyalsaintspets.com, buy from us, join Halo Club, take our quiz, sign up for email or text messages, submit a review, photo or story, contact us, or otherwise interact with us online or at events (together, the “Services”). It also explains the choices and rights you have. We sell in the United States, and this policy is written for US residents.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and account details: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and account login.
  • Order and payment details: products purchased, order history, subscription and membership choices (including Halo Club). Payment card details are entered with and processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Your dog’s profile: your dog’s name, age, size, birthday, current food and any concerns you choose to share in our quiz or pet profile (for example “sensitive stomach” or “itchy ears”). We use these answers to suggest a formula and to personalize what we send you. They are about your pet, not about your health.
  • Content you submit: product reviews, stories, photos and social handles (for example for Loyal Saint of the Week), survey answers, and messages to us. If you give permission, we may feature your dog’s first name, photo and story on our website, social media and marketing.
  • Marketing preferences: your choices about email and text messages.
  • Wholesale and partner details: business name, contact details and information about your store if you apply to stock Loyal Saints or join our ambassador or affiliate programs.
  • Creator and influencer partners: if you agree to work with us (for example after we contact you on Instagram), your name, social media handles and profile links, general location, the shipping address you give us for product samples, the content you create about Loyal Saints, and the details we need to credit and pay affiliate commissions.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information: IP address, general location derived from IP, browser and device type, operating system, pages and products viewed, links clicked, time on page, referring website, search terms, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Cookies, pixels and similar technologies: small files and code that remember your cart and preferences, measure how our site performs, and help us and our advertising partners show and measure ads. See Section 4.
  • Website tests: we sometimes test small changes to our website (for example two versions of a button’s wording) and store which version you saw in your browser so it stays the same on your next visit.
  • Session recording and heat maps: with tools such as Microsoft Clarity, we may record how visitors interact with our pages (for example clicks, scrolling, mouse movements and taps) to find and fix problems. These tools are configured to mask information you type into form fields, and we do not use them to record payment details.

Information from other sources

  • Advertising and social media platforms (for example when you interact with our ads or our pages on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube).
  • Marketplaces and retailers where you may buy Loyal Saints (for example Amazon, Chewy, Target or Walmart) when they share order or review information with us as permitted by their own policies.
  • Affiliates, ambassadors and referral partners who refer you to us.
  • Service providers that help us verify addresses, prevent fraud and deliver orders.

2. How we use information

  • To process orders, payments, subscriptions, memberships, shipping, returns and our 30-day promise.
  • To run your account, Halo Club membership and loyalty or referral rewards.
  • To recommend a formula and serving size, and to send feeding tips you ask for.
  • To send marketing emails and, with your consent, text messages, and to personalize our website, offers and ads.
  • To measure and improve our website, products, checkout and advertising.
  • To display reviews and, with your permission, feature your dog.
  • To run our creator and affiliate program: ship product samples, keep track of content created about Loyal Saints, and credit and pay commissions.
  • To respond to questions and provide customer support.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • To comply with law, enforce our terms and protect our rights and the rights of others.

3. How we share information

We share personal information with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed for the purposes above:

  • Service providers that run parts of our business for us under contract, including our e-commerce platform, payment processors, fulfillment and shipping partners, email and text providers, customer support, analytics, reviews, subscriptions and memberships, and IT and security providers.
  • Advertising and analytics partners that help us show and measure ads, including on other websites and apps. Some state laws treat this as a “sale” of personal information or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. You can opt out at any time (Section 6).
  • Marketplaces and retail partners when you buy Loyal Saints through them; their privacy policies apply to those purchases.
  • Affiliates and referral partners, to credit a referral (for example that an order used a partner’s link or code).
  • Legal and safety: courts, regulators, law enforcement and others when required by law or to protect rights, property and safety.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.

4. The tools and partners we use

These are the main third-party services that may receive personal information through our website, checkout, emails or apps. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Shopify (online store, checkout, Shop Pay, Shop app, Shopify Inbox chat, Point of Sale and Shopify Flow automations). Shopify may use information as described in its Consumer Privacy Policy, including its network-wide services.
  • Payment providers (Shopify Payments, Shop Pay and PayPal) to process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram Pixel, Conversions API and Shops) for advertising, measurement and social commerce.
  • Google (Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Merchant Center and YouTube) for advertising, measurement and product listings.
  • Microsoft (Clarity session recording and heat maps; Microsoft Advertising through the Microsoft Channel) for site analytics, advertising and measurement.
  • TikTok (TikTok Pixel and TikTok Shop) for advertising, measurement and social commerce.
  • AppLovin (Axon) for advertising and measurement.
  • OpenAI (ChatGPT advertising measurement tag) for advertising measurement.
  • Klaviyo for email and text-message marketing, sign-up forms and personalization.
  • Judge.me to collect and display product reviews.
  • Appstle for subscriptions, Halo Club memberships and loyalty rewards.
  • UpPromote for affiliate, ambassador and referral programs.
  • Instafeed to display our Instagram posts on the website.
  • ShipBob and shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS and FedEx) to fulfill and deliver orders.
  • Faire and marketplace-connection tools to manage wholesale and marketplace orders.
  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive and Sheets) to store business records, including wholesale, creator and affiliate partner records.
  • Pickaxe (a custom integration built for us by The Vaquero Group) and other AI-assisted tools we use to help write content, answer customer questions, analyze orders and run our creator and affiliate outreach.

We review these tools periodically and update this list when we add or remove one.

5. Cookies and your choices

Where the law requires it, a cookie banner asks for your choice before analytics and advertising cookies load. Essential cookies keep the store working (for example your cart and checkout) and cannot be switched off. Analytics and advertising cookies and pixels can be turned off: use Your Privacy Choices in our website footer, the cookie notice when it appears, or your browser settings. Turning them off does not stop ads altogether; it means they are less tailored to you. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of sale and targeted advertising for that browser. Our site does not otherwise respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you, and get a portable copy.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example records we must keep for taxes or orders).
  • Opt out of the “sale” of personal information, “sharing” for targeted advertising, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects (we do not engage in that kind of profiling).
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you).
  • Appeal our decision about your request.
  • Not be discriminated against for using these rights.

How to make a request: use Your Privacy Choices in our footer to opt out, or email info@loyalsaintspets.com with the subject line “Privacy request.” We will verify your request using information we already have (such as your email and order details) and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need more time as the law allows. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to confirm your identity. To appeal a decision, reply to our response with “Appeal” in the subject line; if you disagree with the result, you may contact your state attorney general.

California residents. In the past 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, address, IP address); customer records and commercial information (orders, subscriptions); internet or other electronic activity (browsing and interaction data, including session recordings); approximate geolocation; audio, electronic or visual information you submit (photos, messages); and inferences (product preferences). We collected them from the sources in Section 1, for the purposes in Section 2, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients in Section 3. We “sold” or “shared” identifiers, commercial information, internet activity and inferences with advertising and analytics partners. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. California’s “Shine the Light” law lets California customers ask once a year about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing; email us to make that request.

7. Email and text messages

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any email. If you sign up for text messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing texts from Loyal Saints at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details. We may still send transactional messages about your orders. If we contact you by email about wholesale, partnerships or press, you can reply “unsubscribe” at any time and we will stop.

8. Reviews, stories and photos

Reviews and content you post publicly may be seen by others. We may also quote public reviews of our products from retailers such as Amazon and Chewy on our website, with the reviewer’s first name and last initial as shown there. When you submit a story or photo and give permission, we may feature your dog’s first name, photo and story on our website, social media and marketing. You can withdraw permission for future use at any time by emailing info@loyalsaintspets.com.

9. Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy: generally for the life of your account and relationship with us, plus the time required for taxes, accounting, legal claims and fraud prevention (typically up to seven years for order records). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Session recordings are kept for a limited time set in the analytics tool.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and our platform and payment providers maintain industry-standard security, including PCI-compliant payment processing. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Links to other sites

Our site links to other websites and retailers (for example Amazon, Chewy, Target and Walmart) and social media. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and, if the changes are significant, let you know by email or on our website.
