Loyal Saints wants every dog parent to be able to shop, learn and get help on loyalsaintspets.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We test the site with automated checks and by hand, and we fix problems as we find them.
What we have done
- Text and buttons meet WCAG AA color-contrast minimums on our main shopping pages.
- The current page in our menu is shown by an underline, not by color alone.
- Form fields have labels that screen readers announce.
- Pop-ups can be closed with a visible Close button, a tap outside, or the Escape key.
- Product and lifestyle images carry text descriptions.
What we are still improving
- Pause controls for moving content, such as the home page slideshow.
- Some content comes from other companies, such as review widgets, embedded videos and checkout, and we are working with them where it falls short.

How much Loyal Saints should I feed?
Follow the amounts printed on the bag: for Beef or Turkey + Salmon, about ¾ cup a day for a 6 lb dog, 1¼ cups for 12 lb and 2 cups for 25 lb. Use about 25% of that as a topper. Ease in over 7 to 10 days.
