The founder story
Loyal Saints began after King, Kristina's toy poodle, had health challenges that changed the way she thought about what went into his bowl. She built a whole-food, freeze-dried raw recipe she felt confident feeding him every day, then made it for other dog parents. King's story is the founder's motivation — it is personal experience, not a clinical claim.
The three recipes
- Beef — 230 kcal per cup, protein min 39%. AAFCO: All Life Stages, including growth of large-size dogs (70 lb or more as an adult).
- Chicken — 200 kcal per cup, protein min 40%. AAFCO: All Life Stages, including growth of large-size dogs (70 lb or more as an adult).
- Turkey + Salmon — 230 kcal per cup, protein min 40%. AAFCO: All Life Stages except growth of large-size dogs (70 lb or more as an adult).
Full ingredient lists, guaranteed analysis and the printed feeding chart for each recipe are published as selectable text on the ingredients page, the Science & Safety Center and the official feeding amounts page.
Feeding, in one line
Feed by your dog's weight from the printed chart on the bag (for example, Beef: 2 cups a day at 25 lb as a complete meal), or replace about a quarter of the bowl as a topper. Not by percentage of body weight — that rule describes fresh raw, which is mostly water.
Storage and handling
Shelf-stable for up to 24 months from manufacture, unopened. No artificial preservatives (mixed tocopherols are used as a natural preservative). Freeze-drying is not sterilization: handle like any raw meat product and wash hands and bowls after feeding.
