How Much Loyal Saints to Feed: The Official Amounts
These are the amounts printed on the bag, formula by formula. If you have seen other numbers elsewhere, these are the ones to use.
The amounts, in one paragraph
As a complete meal, feed Loyal Saints Beef or Turkey + Salmon at ¾ cup a day for a 6 lb dog, 1¼ cups at 12 lb, 1⅔ cups at 18 lb, 2 cups at 25 lb and 3½ cups at 50 lb; Chicken at ¾, 1⅓, 1¾, 2⅓ and 4 cups. Over 50 lb, add ½ cup for every 10 lb. As a topper, use 25% of these amounts.

Why you may have seen different numbers
Some older pages and retailer listings used a body-weight percentage meant for fresh raw food. Freeze-dried food has had its water removed, so that rule overfeeds it by roughly two to four times. Use the amounts above, adjust for activity and body condition, and weigh your dog every few weeks.

How much should I feed as a topper?
A quarter of the complete-meal amount, swapped for the same share of the current food — replace rather than add.
How much for a dog over 50 lb?
Start from 3½ cups (Beef or Turkey + Salmon) or 4 cups (Chicken) at 50 lb and add ½ cup for every additional 10 lb. Many large-dog owners feed Loyal Saints as a quarter of the bowl.
Should I feed a percentage of body weight?
No. The 2–3% of body weight rule describes fresh raw food, which is mostly water. Applied to freeze-dried food it overfeeds several times over. Use the amounts on the bag.
