Freeze Dried Raw Turkey with Salmon — 5oz
Product Details
Two proteins. One bowl. The formula dogs with allergies, dull coats, and low energy have been waiting for.
Why Turkey with Salmon?
Turkey is a lean, anti-inflammatory protein ideal for dogs with joint issues, weight management needs, or red-meat sensitivities. Salmon brings EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids clinically linked to reduced inflammation, improved coat condition, and enhanced brain function. Together they form our most nutritionally diverse formula — the one we recommend when a dog's coat is dull, joints are stiff, energy is low, or allergies are a concern. Add in Tart Cherry, Strawberry, and Chlorella and you have a bowl that works as hard as your dog does.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is freeze-dried raw food better than kibble?
Yes — for most dogs, significantly so. Kibble is cooked at high temperatures that destroy naturally occurring enzymes, vitamins, and beneficial bacteria. Freeze-drying removes moisture at low temperatures, preserving the full nutritional integrity of raw ingredients without the risks of handling raw meat at home. You get the benefits of a raw diet with the convenience of dry food.
How do I transition my dog to freeze-dried food?
Over 10 days: Days 1–3 at 25% new food, Days 4–6 at 50%, Days 7–9 at 75%, Day 10 at 100%. If your dog has a known fish sensitivity, introduce this formula after they've settled on our Chicken or Beef formula first.
Are Loyal Saints ingredients human-grade?
Yes. Every ingredient meets USDA human food safety standards. "Human-grade" isn't just a marketing term for us — it means every ingredient was sourced from facilities approved for human consumption. Most pet food uses "feed-grade" ingredients, held to a much lower standard. We don't believe your dog deserves less.
How long does a bag last for my dog's size?
At 230 Kcal per cup: a 5oz bag contains approximately 2.8 cups; a 14oz bag contains approximately 7.8 cups. Divide your dog's daily serving into the total cups to find your bag duration. A 6 lb dog eating 3/4 cup/day gets about 3–4 days from a 5oz bag and about 10 days from a 14oz bag. For the best value, subscribe through the Halo Club and save 20%.
Is Loyal Saints vet-approved?
Yes. Our formulas meet AAFCO nutritional standards for all life stages — puppies, adults, and seniors. As with any diet change, we recommend a check-in with your vet, especially for dogs with pre-existing health conditions.
Feeding Guide
Start by mixing Loyal Saints with your dog's current food, gradually increasing the ratio over 7–10 days. As a complete meal:

- Large (50–90 lbs): 1 – 1¾ cups per day
